Want to know a little more about us?  Here goes.......

Jamie studied Philosophy and English Literature at Kent University. He has been on staff at Winchester Family Church since 2011 and is heading up the student, twenties and young adult work. He is excited about all that God is doing and all that He's going to do in and through the young people of our city. A sociable chap, he enjoys playing his guitar, reading interesting books, and having fun with friends.

Phil currently works as a community nurse, supporting families who have children with a learning disability, a mental health disorder and/or challenging behaviour. Before moving to Winchester, Phil lived in London and Essex. Outside of work, Phil enjoys cooking, going to the gym and supporting British people/teams in all sports from cricket to F1, football to athletics etc....Phil also loves everything 24 and dreams of being Jack Bauer.

Andy is originally from Bournemouth and first moved to Winchester in 2008 to do a degree in Business Management. He is currently taking time out to work as a volunteer for the church, whilst undergoing theological training.

James loves being part of Winchester Family Church. He's a Primary School teacher near Winchester and loves his job. He is passionate about Worship and seeing people enter God's awesome presence. James is married to the beautiful Ellen and loves cooking for guests, so give him a shout for some grub. He enjoys playing the guitar, watching films, Dr Who and playing sport.

Ellen is married to James and is a Primary School Teacher. She loves going for coffee, having a good old chin wag, and seeing lots of girls grow in their walk with God. She spends a lot of her free time knitting, sewing, baking and making cards. Ellen enjoys being part of the worship team at church as well as leading a Community Group with her husband James.

Sian has been living in Winchester her whole life and came to Christ after leaving university. Like Andy, Sian is volunteering at the church whilst having theological training. Before Sian was doing this she was a senior care officer working with severely autistic young adults. Sian has a big heart for Winchester and the many different communities within the city. She believes there is great potential for God’s work within the students and 20’s.
