Winchester Family Church is a member of Newfrontiers, a worldwide family of churches numbering around 600 churches in over 40 nations around the world.
Conferences & Events
An annual gathering of 5000 delegates from 50 nations for inspiring teaching, worship and ministry. All are welcome. Held in Brighton, UK, the event comprises two conferences which combine for some sessions:
Leadership International for those with a leadership role in church - from pastors to home group leaders, and administrators to children's workers.
Mobilise is specifically for students and twenties.
 Newday is a major youth event that takes place in the UK with thousands of young people in August. During the six day camp, there's time to worship God, pray together and listen to teaching from the Bible, both in main meetings and in seminars. There's the opportunity to be involved in outreach and social action projects in Derby and time to relax in the cafés, join in the sports programmes and listen to live gigs.
In 2009, Newday will be based at Norkfolk Showground from 1-6 August. More information ...
Wessex Region
There are currently 16 churches and two church plants in the Wessex region of the Newfrontiers family.
Guy Miller (Bournemouth - Citygate Church) leads the regional team with Andrew Lawrence (Bournemouth - Citygate Church), Steve Chick (King's Community Church, Hedge End), John Groves (Winchester Family Church), Richard Shaw (Solent Community Church, Portsmouth) and Chris Kilby (Life Church, Southampton).

Life Change Teams
Life Change Teams exist to give you the opportunity to experience cross-cultural mission for 2 – 4 weeks, based with another Newfrontiers Church or church planting team. You’ll live, learn and serve alongside local people and gain an insight into what God is doing in and through his church across the nations. More....
Mission Training Track
This training programme is designed to help equip people from Newfrontiers churches in the UK who feel God is calling them to a longer-term commitment to another nation. This could be through involvement in church planting or by supporting existing local churches in that nation. More...
