Sunday Meetings

Sunday mornings

The whole church meets every Sunday morning for a celebration service.  We gather together to enjoy Spirit-led worship and hear dynamic preaching from the Bible.  It is also a chance to catch up with each other and make new friends.

Every time is a little bit different.  Sometimes we will raise the roof with thumping praise and worship, as we celebrate who God is and what he has done for us through his son, Jesus Christ.  Other times may be quieter as we stand in awe at the presence of God and feel his Holy Spirit among us.  Preaching from the Bible is an important element of every Sunday morning.  Gifted Bible teachers unpack the truth of Scripture and apply it to our lives in a living and dynamic way.

So why not come along and see!  We meet at 10:00 am in the Middle Brook Centre.  The service has usually finished by 12:00pm and you are welcome to stay for coffee and a biscuit afterwards.  If you have any questions or need assistance in any way, you can always speak to one of our Welcome Team in the orange t-shirts.

Children up to Year 6 have their own exciting programme, called Brook Street Kids.  Sometimes the children and adults begin the morning all together and the kids go out to other rooms part way through.  Other times Brook Street Kids runs for the whole morning.  Either way, they have a great time together.  Ask one of the Welcome Team if you are not sure where to go.  You can find out more about BSK and how we keep your children safe here.

Sunday evenings

The church often meets again each Sunday at 7pm.  At the moment we are running a series of evenings called Encounter.  These evenings have a smaller, more intimate feel.  The programme is varied and dynamic, but we always aim to encounter God as we worship, pray, or hear from His word.  You are more than welcome to come along to an Encounter evening.  Check the calendar first because they do not run every week.
