Where?

Eastleigh is a vibrant town with traditional roots, straddling Junction 13 of the M3. As a hub of road, rail and air networks, it’s a fast growing town with a diversity of cultures – a great place to live and a great place to plant a church!

Why?

With an expanding multicultural population which really needs to hear the gospel, we have an open door of opportunity to plant a vibrant church which serves the community and reflects the diversity of the town.

How?

We want to gather a team who are excited about Jesus, have a heart for the town and are committed to a ‘go to them’ approach.  We will be looking for creative ways of building friendships with local residents and getting involved in serving the community.  This will lead to the launch of a public Sunday meeting in the town centre which is accessible to the public and where Christ is preached and encountered.

When?

In the autumn of 2010 we will begin to gather those who are interested in being part of the adventure to explain the vision.  In January 2011, we will begin to meet as a mid-sized group in Eastleigh and start to work together in a focused way on reaching out to local residents. As momentum grows, we will launch a public meeting on a Sunday.
